Nokia has launched a new version of Symbian 3 version, named Anna. Symbian Anna is an upgraded version of theSymbian operating system before, namely Symbian ^ 3. Symbian ^ 3 itself is an upgraded version of the Symbian operating system before, called Symbian S60 5th Edition.Nokia said that new Symbian has all new features for fast and accurate functioning.
In Symbian -Anna, Nokia has removed all the problems of Symbian 3 version. Nokia says that Symbian Anna has a faster browser and a portrait-mode virtual QWERTY keyboard. It also has usability improvements including smoother scrolling, and a new version of Ovi Maps, with better search and new public transport routes. Enterprises get expanded security functionality and hardware-accelerated encryption, Nokia said. In all, there are over 50 enhancements in the new version.
Symbian Anna is the first of a range of updates – all expected to be named after women’s names – and will be pre-loaded on Nokia’s new devices. It will also be available as an update for the Nokia C7, E7, C6-01 and N8.
Nokia targets to sell The company said it still expects to sell around 150 million Symbian handsets in the mid- and lower-tier sectors.
